We collect the minimum data necessary to operate our gathering logistics platform effectively:

  • Account Information: When you sign in via Google OAuth or Email, we store your email address, full name, and avatar image.
  • Experience & RSVP Data: Details of experiences you host, screening responses you provide when applying to events, ticket statuses, and attendance check-in logs.
  • Technical & Usage Information: Basic browser telemetry and device session identifiers required to maintain secure authentication and system stability.

03. Event Visibility & Host Access

Joon connects hosts and attendees. When you apply for or purchase a ticket to an experience, the host receives your name, email, and screening answers so they can approve applications and manage event check-ins.

04. Infrastructure & Payment Processors

We use trusted cloud infrastructure and payment processing partners to operate Joon securely:

  • Dodo Payments (Payment Gateway & Merchant of Record): Ticket checkout transactions, billing, tax compliance, and payouts are processed via Dodo Payments. When you purchase a ticket, payment credentials and billing data are transmitted directly to Dodo Payments in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. Joon does not directly store full credit card numbers.
  • Supabase & Hetzner: Encrypted database storage, user authentication, and application hosting on secured servers.

05. Account Deletion & Rights

You can de-activate or delete your account at any time in your Account Settings. Alternatively, you can email us at [email protected]with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” to permanently remove your profile and personal data.
